Nat graduated from the University of South Australia in 2002 and spent the early part of her career working in the public and private hospital settings. She has worked in a range of different areas, including: orthopaedics, spinal surgery, oncology, hydrotherapy and antenatal/maternity.

In 2005, Nat travelled to the UK and worked in a tiny private hospital in Essex, where her passion for musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy was confirmed. She also completed her first pilates course in London, starting her journey of many more pilates courses.

Since returning to Australia in 2007, Nat has worked in private practice across Adelaide, including 4 years of managing a clinic on the Yorke Peninsula. Nat has been with the TPC team since 2017, and loves leading the team at Blackwood. She grew up locally in the Eden Hills and really enjoys being part of the community, both personally and professionally.

In high school, Nat decided she wanted to study something health/medical related and a good friend of hers wanted to study physiotherapy. She had never been to a physio nor had a great concept of what physios did but started researching more with her friend. She soon realised that physio would be an excellent career for her as the whole essence of the job was helping, supporting and educating people.

Nat believes in a “hands on”, holistic approach to managing her clients. She loves listening to people’s stories and how they’ve been impacted by their problem and then matching a treatment plan that is driven by the patient’s goals and lifestyle. She has an extensive background in exercise management and combining this with a strong focus on education, is her goal.

Nat’s areas of interest are:

  • Chronic spinal pain/Low back pain
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Shoulder Dysfunction
  • Women’s Health

Outside of work, Nat is lover of the outdoors and spending time with her family. You’ll either find her gardening, hiking or trail running. She loves to cook up a storm in the kitchen or lose herself in a good book!
