Angelique graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2019.
Throughout her studies and beyond, she gained a special interest in neurological conditions and the impact that physiotherapy can have on rehabilitation. She also has a keen interest in paediatric physiotherapy, and strives to empower children and their families/caregivers to achieve their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Angelique also fulfils the role as a tutor in neurological rehabilitation for the University of South Australia.
I was excited to be able to pursue my passion for caring for people combined with my interest in health into a career in physiotherapy. Within my studies, I developed a love for neurological rehabilitation and supporting individuals with life-changing disabilities – no matter how young or old they are.
I soon recognised that physiotherapy involves not only physical aspects, but also social, mental and emotional and that I have the privilege of finding that individualised balance for each of my clients– regardless of their age.
Since university, I have worked in private practice providing services in a clinic setting, home, pool or gym for individuals with a range of conditions including, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, spinal cord injuries, autism spectrum disorder and Cerebral Palsy – to name a few.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy keeping fit and jetting off to explore and eat my way around different countries at any given opportunity.
