Tyla graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra in 2023. With a lifelong passion for sport and fitness and a strong desire to help others, she was naturally drawn to a career in physiotherapy. Her particular interest in women’s health led her to pursue specialised training, completing both Level 1 and Level 2 Women’s Health Physiotherapy through the APA earlier this year.
Tyla’s treatment philosophy centres around providing the best patient-centered care possible. She believes knowledge is power and focuses on equipping patients with the resources, equipment, and support they need to become independent and achieve their goals. Her approach combines hands-on therapy with individualised self-management strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Tyla’s areas of interest include:
- Women’s Health Physiotherapy
- Returning to Exercise Post-Pregnancy
- Paediatric Physiotherapy
- General Musculoskeletal Conditions
- Netball Injuries
Outside of work, Tyla enjoys outdoor activities including weekend camping trips, hiking, and playing social netball. She also loves exploring local wineries, reading in the sun, and relaxing at the beach with friends.
Fun Fact: Tyla completed her first marathon in 2025!
