Monique graduated from the University of South Australia with a Graduate Entry Masters of Physiotherapy in 2024. Since then, she has been working in private practice as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her clinical experience spans over 30 weeks of placement across public hospitals, private clinics, and community health settings, and she has previously worked as a physiotherapy assistant in acute care and neurological rehabilitation – including brain and spinal injury.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Monique takes a person-centred, function-focused approach to treatment. She’s passionate about empowering her clients through education, collaborative goal setting, and tailored interventions that support long-term outcomes and lasting confidence.
Monique has a special interest in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, as well as in-patient
orthopaedic care. She enjoys the complexity of multifaceted presentations and integrates strength
and conditioning principles into her rehab plans to optimise recovery and function.
Her journey into physiotherapy was driven by a lifelong love of movement. Growing up active and involved in gymnastics and hiking, she later discovered fitness and weightlifting, gaining firsthand insight into the physical and emotional benefits of moving well. That connection continues to inspire her commitment to helping others feel stronger, move better, and live more independently.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Monique lifting weights, hiking trails, trying out local coffee spots, or
relaxing at the beach. She’s also a fan of health and mindset podcasts, and loves getting lost in a
good book.
Fun fact: Monique has travelled to over 20 countries – and once managed to board 11 flights in just
one month while backpacking through South-East Asia!
